Some of the biggest airshows in the world are held in the U.K. and Europe, with R.I.A.T. (Royal International Air Tattoo) in Fairford and the Flying Legends display at Sywell Aerodrome being two of the most prominent. These two occasions display the illustrious R.A.F. in all its splendor throughout history and up to the present. A stunning collection and display of the best aircraft ever created.
An ideal chance to take in the attractions while also exploring the charming British countryside. Outstanding world-class museums can be visited, like the Imperial War Museum and the Hendon Aviation Museum, as well as historic aerodromes like Biggin Hill.
08 Apr: Festival of Flight - All ages are welcome to attend the Festival of Flight, which offers a beautiful day of entertainment and music and the chance to peek inside Scotland's busiest general aviation airport.
02-04 Jun: Midlands Air Festival - Rejoin us for another spectacular classic aviation show on the breathtaking Ragley Hall Estate grounds. Warbirds, vintage jets, helicopters, spectacular high-intensity aerobatics, aerial ballet, flying circus, and some of the most significant radio-controlled models in the world—some of which are so massive you could nearly climb inside—are just a few of the many displays that will be on show.
Additionally, there will be parachute display teams and the opportunity to get close to some of our demonstration aircraft when they land on our designated runway! Even a tiny portion of our flying spectacle will be reserved for our younger visitors, making it both exciting and fascinating.
03-04 Jun: English Riviera Airshow - The English Riviera Airshow will take over Paignton's seafront to offer a FREE family outing this summer.
On Paignton Green, there will be a tonne of carnival-style games and rides, as well as a large variety of food and drink vendors where you can purchase some delectable delights.
When you see our visiting R.A.F. crews, you can stop by and say hi to crews from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the Royal Navy, the Army, and the Red Arrows.
08-10 Jun: UK AeroExpo 2023 - For three days, Sywell Aerodrome, our fantastic new facility, will host a showcase of the best in general aviation. See the newest planes up close, and browse a massive selection of aviation-related goods and services from the best vendors. Talk to the authorities, safety professionals, and Border Force colleagues about the newest hot subjects. We hear from some of the top names in the business through our seminar schedule.
10-11 Jun: Folkestone and Ashford Military Show- Anyone interested in military history or looking for a fun family day out is welcome to attend this two-day event. Every member of the family can find something to appreciate.
The purpose of the occasion is to raise awareness about and demonstrate the engagement of local youth organizations, particularly cadet organizations while mixing a military theme to draw spectators and including certain attractions giving it the impression of a contemporary fair.
We will host some unique visitors and create an environment the family can enjoy for hours and return to for years.
16-18 Jun: Weston Park Airshow International - The Weston Park International Model Airshow, now in its 26th year and located in the picturesque Shropshire countryside on more than 1,000 acres of the grounds of a stately home built in the 15th century, has made a name for itself as one of the top model shows in the nation and competes successfully on the international stage. The show continues to expand yearly and draws viewers and pilots from worldwide.
24–25 Jun: Duxford Summer Air Show 2023-Action in the Sky - 120th anniversary of flight. Catch aerial displays that will send chills down your spine, from rapid jet action to spectacular flypasts! Activities for families at the Showground: Enjoy entertainment for all ages before takeoff. Reaching the flight line: Visit the aircraft up close before noon and watch the crew and pilots get ready to take off. Food and drink, retail: Together, enjoy a great day out at one of the many retail vendors and temporary food and beverage stalls.
01 Jul: Wallop Wheels and Wings - The event is the Army Flying Museum's primary fund-raising activity, and the previous two years' editions sold out completely. Once more, a large variety of airplanes, vintage cars, and motorcycles will be on display. The historic Army Air Corps airstrip will be open to visitors who want to interact with the event's pilots and, in some cases, even sit in the aircraft.
01-02 Jul: Wales National Airshow 2023 - For a few of the best pilots flying for two days, displays perform astounding aerial acrobatics in Swansea Bay's natural amphitheater. It's two days of the year because of the fantastic Red Arrows, jets, and helicopters. And to top it off, it's free! Swansea Prom is transformed with ground displays, delectable food and drink trucks, V.R. exhibits, live performances by musicians and bands, family activities, rides, and more. Hence, the action isn't just in the air.
